Havre Police Department

Martin Duane Flying of Havre, 31, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a vehicle stop on First Street Monday at 3:29 p.m.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a Havre area caller reported Monday at 7:44 p.m. needing help getting a man to stop sending messages to the caller.

Mary Sophie Pierre of Polson, 32, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and charges of no vehicle insurance and seat belt violation after a 2:27 a.m. vehicle stop today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Sheriff's Office dispatch log reported no arrests, summonses or investigations in the 24-hour reporting period.

Montana Highway Patrol

Troopers were called at 1:01 p.m. Monday to a vehicle crash at Second Street and 8th Avenue West where one person was injured and transported to the hospital. No one was made available to provide more information.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to two calls Monday, and firefighters responded to a fire alarm activation at 8:49 p.m. to the 10 block of Third Street West.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held four cats and one 9-month-old kitten all of unknown gender, two female cats and four male cats.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held 11 puppies between one week and 23 weeks old, one 7-month-old female Chihuahua puppy, four female mixed-breed dogs and one male mixed-breed dog. Additionally, four 19-week-old puppies and one 5-week-old puppy were being housed off-site.
