A Boulevard Avenue caller reported at 8:11 a.m. Friday that someone had hit their mailbox during the night.

A two-vehicle, non-injury crash was reported Friday at 12:45 p.m. on First Street West.

A two-vehicle, non-injury crash was reported on Second Avenue at 1:11 p.m. Friday.

A caller reported their dog was loose near the post office Friday 2:13 p.m.

Officers assisted Montana Highway Patrol at 3:08 p.m. Friday on First Street.

Robert James Bonavita of Havre, 41, was issued a summons on a charge of violation of a protective order after a complaint was made Friday at 3:25 p.m.

Friday at 5:10 p.m., officers assisted Child Protective Services on Second Street.

A caller with a Montana service agency asked Friday at 6:05 p.m. for officers to perform a welfare check on someone in Havre.

Officers at 9:05 p.m. Friday were asked to provide assistance to someone needing a ride home from the hospital.

--

An 11th Street West caller asked Friday at 11:21 p.m. for assistance with their juvenile who was being disruptive.

--

Officers searched for but could not locate the possibly intoxicated driver who a caller reported had left a First Street West establishment Saturday at 1:04 p.m. eastbound in a white Buick.

A 1:06 p.m. Saturday caller on Seventh Avenue reported someone stopped and took photos of the caller while he was plowing snow. The dispatch log adds that the person was playing Pokemon Go on their smartphone.

A First Street caller reported Saturday at 2:30 p.m. that someone had kicked in the back door of a family member's residence.

A two-vehicle, non-injury crash was reported at 4:02 p.m. Saturday on First Street.

Possible water main breaks were reported Saturday at 4:44 p.m. on 10th Street, at 6:27 p.m. on 12th Street West and at 7:18 p.m. on First Street West, and the information was passed along to Havre Public Works.

A non-injury vehicle crash was reported at Second Street and 12th Avenue Saturday at 7:27 p.m.

Officers assisted after several people at 8:37 p.m. Saturday reported a vehicle on Grant Avenue with its alarm system going off.

Child Protective Services asked officers to perform a welfare check on Second Street at 9:43 p.m. Saturday.

Officers assisted MHP troopers on Seventh Avenue at 1:13 a.m. Sunday.

Officers provided assistance with a ride Sunday at 1:21 a.m. for someone at the hospital.

Officers assisted at a 6:19 a.m. Sunday medical call on 10th Street.

A 12:08 p.m. Sunday caller reported an injured black dog in the alley between Cleveland and Washington avenues.

A caller asked Sunday at 2:50 p.m. for a civil standby.

Someone stopped at the police station Sunday at 3:52 p.m. asking for assistance with a VIN inspection.

A caller on First Street asked at 7:26 p.m. Sunday for a dog to be taken to the shelter because its owner was in the hospital.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a First Street caller asked Sunday 7:57 p.m. for assistance with a trespasser.

--

Tiffany Blair Daughenbaugh of Havre, 40, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after a caller on Glo Drive reported a Sunday 9:28 p.m. domestic disturbance.

Officers provided help to someone who requested assistance at the police station Sunday at 11:08 p.m.

--

A written or verbal warning was issued after a Second Street caller reported a noise complaint at 12:05 a.m. today.

--

A caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported being scammed at 1:10 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A domestic disturbance was reported at a Box Elder business Saturday at 4:55 p.m. and the incident was resolved peacefully.

Michael Steven Schoening of Havre, 38, was arrested on five Justice or City court warrants after a vehicle stop on First Street North at 1:31 a.m. Sunday.

--

Callers at 6:22 p.m. Sunday reported a dead deer in the middle of the westbound lane of U.S. Highway 2 East.

--

A 6:57 p.m. Sunday report of a vehicle rollover on County Road 637 was referred to MHP troopers and Havre Fire Department.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to three calls Friday, four calls Saturday, 10 calls Sunday and two calls early this morning.

Firefighters responded to a 5:18 p.m. Friday report of smoke on the 900 Block of 11th Street West but found no evidence of a fire.

--

Firefighters had to reset a fire alarm due to burnt food on the 800 Block of Fourth Street at 12:28 p.m. Sunday.

Firefighters, accompanied by ambulance crews, responded to a vehicle rollover on County Road 637, off the south end of Washington Avenue, at 6:58 p.m. Sunday. Havre Fire Chief Nathan Courtnage said two people were injured in the crash and transported to the hospital. One of the people had left the scene to walk to a residence and was transported at 7:35 p.m. MHP troopers were not available to provide further details on the crash.

Firefighters, accompanied by an ambulance crew, responded to a 6:25 a.m. fire alarm today at Havre Middle School, where smoke from an overheated bearing in an air handling system in the boiler room had set off the alarm. No one was injured in the incident, Courtnage said, adding that the system was shut down for repairs and the smoke was cleared from of the building.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held four cats all of unknown gender, two female 9-month-old kittens, one female cat, four male cats and a 6-month-old female kitten.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held 11 mixed-breed puppies between 2 weeks and 24 weeks old, one 7-month-old female Chihuahua puppy, four female mixed-breed dogs and one male mixed-breed dog. Additionally, four 20-week-old puppies and one 6-week-old puppy were being housed off-site.
