Havre Police Department

Officers investigated an alarm at a U.S. Highway 2 Northeast business Friday at 6:27 a.m. and found it was a false alarm.

Officers investigated an alarm at a Wilson Avenue business at 7:41 a.m. Friday and found it was a false alarm.

Officers assisted sheriff's office deputies on 16th Street West at 4:07 p.m. Friday.

Someone stopped at the police station Friday at 4:35 p.m. for assistance with a parenting plan.

Officers provided assistance after a Friday 8:21 p.m. caller reported a person being violent at the hospital.

--

A written or verbal warning was issued after a noise complaint was made at 11:19 p.m. Friday on Boulevard Avenue.

Josephine Olethea Arkinson of Box Elder, 42, was arrested on four Justice or City court warrants after a trespasser was reported on First Street Saturday at 8:57 a.m.

A U.S. Highway 2 East caller reported Saturday at 10:06 a.m. that property had been spray painted sometime during the night.

Miranda Denise Walker of Harlem, 40, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, resisting arrest, failure to carry proof of insurance, no driver's license, turning when unsafe and seat belt violation after a vehicle stop on First Street at 1:08 p.m. Saturday.

Officers assisted Montana Highway Patrol n Sixth Street Saturday at 2:43 p.m.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a 2:43 p.m. Sunday noise complaint on Second Street.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a noise complaint on First Street at 2:54 a.m. Sunday.

--

Officers responding to an alarm Sunday at 5:53 a.m. alarm at a First Street business and found it was a false alarm.

Officers assisted deputies on U.S. Highway 2 East at 6:39 a.m. Sunday and again at 11:45 a.m.

A written or verbal warning was issued when officers investigated suspicious activity at 1:32 p.m. Sunday behind a First Street business.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a Sunday 2:23 p.m. caller reported three or four juveniles riding a scooter in the street at 10 Street and Sixth Avenue.

Michael Robert Louis Belcourt of Havre, 34, was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and no insurance after a vehicle stop on U.S. Highway 2 West Sunday at 4:27 p.m.

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported at 3:47 a.m. today at a First Street West business.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Fred Nashookpuk of Havre, 38, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served Friday at 1:49 p.m. at Hill County Detention Center where he has been held since Feb. 1.

Darryl Jay Torgerson of Kalispell, 53, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served Friday at 5:05 p.m. at the detention center.

A 15-year-old Havre juvenile and Jaciee Theboy of Havre, 18, were each issued a summons on a charge of assault after a Sixth Street North caller reported Friday at 10 p.m. a family member had been assaulted. Theboy's summons was served Sunday at 8:16 p.m.on First Street Northeast.

Jerel Edgar Johnson of Harlem, 39, was arrested on charges of assault with a weapon and criminal endangerment and on a Justice or City court warrant after a disturbance was reported on U.S. Highway 2 East at 11:42 a.m. Sunday.

A caller on Fifth Avenue North reported Sunday at 12:10 p.m. finding pills in a baggie at a rental property.

--

A caller reported a man pushed a woman to the ground near a vehicle with its hazard lights on by the side of the road on U.S. Highway 2 East and deputies searched for but couldn't locate the parties involved at 5:03 p.m. Sunday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to one call Sunday night and responded with a fire crew to a 12:30 a.m. call today for a carbon monoxide alarm on the 600 Block of Sixth Street, where the gas was detected in a heater and NorthWestern Energy was called in. The heater was shut down until repairs could be made.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held two cats and six kittens all of unknown gender, four male cats, one male 21-week-old kitten, two female 10-month-old kittens, three female cats and a 6-month-old female kitten.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held 11 mixed-breed puppies between 4 weeks and 6 months old, five female mixed-breed dogs and one male mixed-breed dog and a male bulldog. Additionally, two 22-week-old puppies, five 5-week-old puppies and one 8-week-old puppy were being housed off-site.
