Havre Police Department

A 7:30 a.m. Tuesday caller reported a man on the ground on First Street West and officers transported him to the hospital.

Child Protective Services made a report of a juvenile status offense Tuesday at 8:29 a.m.

--

Officers investigating a Tuesday 9:35 a.m. report of a domestic disturbance on 12th Avenue found the allegation was unfounded.

--

A written or verbal warning was issued after a caller on Maple Drive reported Tuesday at 9:41 a.m. that a neighbor was piling trash against the the caller's house rather than the trash bin.

--

A written or verbal warning was issued after a Second Street caller reported at 12:02 p.m. that a man was cussing at the caller.

--

A theft was reported Tuesday at 12:11 p.m. on 11th Street.

A caller on Second Street reported at 1:12 p.m. Tuesday that a man was asking people for marijuana and to borrow a phone. The man named as the involved party, Acoya Nathan Gopher of Box Elder, 26, was later arrested on charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and trespass to property after a 2:25 p.m. caller at a First Street business reported a trespasser in the parking lot.

A 2:26 p.m. Tuesday caller on McKinley Avenue reported that a woman had walked into the caller's house and took a water dish outside to water a dog.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a caller at a facility on Second Street West reported Tuesday at 2:47 p.m. that people were outside drinking near a storage building.

--

A Third Street caller asked Tuesday at 4:14 p.m. for a welfare check on a neighbor, who was subsequently contacted by dispatch.

--

A caller at a Third Street West residence reported a person out of control at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, and officers helped resolve the incident peacefully.

--

A Fourth Street caller reported at 4:22 p.m. Tuesday seeing a boy chasing another person with a gun, and responding officers found no offense being perpetrated.

--

A First Street caller asked Tuesday at 6:03 p.m. for a welfare check on a person, and officers searched for but couldn't find the individual.

--

Officers performed a welfare check on Jefferson Avenue at the request of a 7:55 p.m. Tuesday caller.

--

A 15th Avenue caller asked Tuesday at 8:25 p.m. to have a woman removed from a property, and officers searched for but could not locate the individual.

Charlye Jillian Garcia of Havre, 34, was arrested on charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, disorderly conduct with physical contact, resisting arrest and assault and on five Justice or City court warrants, and Kaleb Emmanuel Freyholtz of Hingham, 33, was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance and probation violation, after a caller on First Street reported at 2:09 a.m. today a that someone had been assaulted.

Wade Thomas Clyde Doney of Havre, 24, was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault and vandalism after a caller on Third Street reported at 4:02 a.m. today that man had punched out a window.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies responded to a burglar alarm at 12:28 a.m. today on U.S. Highway 87 but it was a false alarm.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to four calls Tuesday and one call early this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held three 8-week-old kittens all of unknown gender, four female cats, two male cats and a 19-week-old male kitten.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held seven mixed-breed puppies between 7 weeks and 6 months old, three female and one male mixed-breed dogs, and one female German shepherd cross dog. Additionally, five 8-week-old puppies were being housed off-site.
