MSU-N Rodeo back for spring

It's spring in Montana and rodeo is back - including collegiate rodeo.

The Big Sky Region kicks off its spring season this weekend with the Montana State University Rodeo over the next three days in Bozeman. It's one of the biggest college rodeos of the year, and the MSU-Northern teams will be there.

The Skylights enter the spring season in first place in the region standings and are poised to make another trip to nationals this summer. The Lights are currently in fourth place in the region, but are looking to move up the standings.

The Northern men's team is made up of Wind Augare, Preston Bird, Talen Cummins, Tobin Cummins. Garrett Cunningham, Cameron Falcon, Ethan Frasier, Miles Graveley, Chris Hall, Gavin McLean, Brier Selvidge, Chance Story, Justin Three Irons and Rope Three Irons.

The MSU-N women's team is composed of Alee Bartlett, Brittney Cox, Clara Houff, Elli Linder, Taylissa Lytle, Jill Marcenko, Peyton Mullanix, Georgia Orahood, Olivia Parsonage, Cecelia Reid, Mikenna Schauer, Kenya Statham, Emily Williams and Tori Yeager.

Northern competes in Bozeman this weekend, followed by rodeos in Miles Cty and Missoula to wrap up the season.
