A red 2006 Impala was reported at 6:52 a.m. stolen from outside a Ninth Avenue residence.

Zackary Eagle Sutherland of Havre, 29, was issued a summons on on a charge of violation of a protective order after a possible restraining order violation was reported on Fifth Avenue at 1:26 p.m.

Officers investigated a 6:15 p.m. report that the Seventh Street family's dog bit a juvenile family member on the ankle and broke the skin.

Two people were issued written or verbal warnings Tuesday about barking dogs.

Wednesday, May 1

  Jamie Sue Henderson of Havre, 39, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence after a 7:16 a.m. caller asked to speak with an officer in the Lincoln Avenue alley. Henderson was later arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault member assault after someone stopped at the police station at 12:53 p.m. to report an incident between family members.

Someone stopped at the police station at 2:55 p.m. to report sexual or violent offender registry violation.

A written or verbal warning was issued after three juveniles were reported at 5:21 p.m. trying to enter an abandoned building on 11th Street West.

Thursday, May 2

  Tyler Roy Lawrence of Havre, 30, was arrested on four Justice or City court warrants served at 6:06 p.m. at Hill County Detention Center.

Acoya Nathan Gpher of Box Elder, 26, was arrested on a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant after a Bonine Drive caller reported at 7:22 p.m. that a man was knocking on doors.

Friday, May 3

John Michael Segna of Havre, 33, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and charges of resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant after a Fourth Street caller asked at 11 a.m. for assistance with a man who was walking around the neighborhood again.

Officers investigated a 6:17 p.m. report that a Second Street residence had been vandalized by the renter.

Officers investigated a 6:33 p.m. report that a juvenile had been beat up by five other juveniles on First Avenue.

Saturday, May 4

Officers provided security at 9:58 a.m. during Montana State University-Northern graduation ceremonies.

Officers assisted Montana Highway Patrol on U.S. Highway 2 Northwest at 10:34 a.m.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a 1:48 p.m. caller reported an intoxicated woman on a Third Avenue bench.

Martin Duane Flying Jr. of Havre, 31, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and on a Justice or City court warrant after officers initiated investigation at 4:55 p.m. of suspicious activity on First Street.

Charlye Jillian Garcia of Havre, 34, was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, reckless driving, resisting arrest, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and fleeing or eluding a peace officer after a vehicle stop at Second Street and 11th Avenue at 5:01 p.m. Officers initiated the stop for the driving with a suspended license charge, Havre Police Capt. Ryan Pearson said, but Garcia led the arresting officer on a short vehicle chase, then a short foot pursuit before being apprehended.

Jacob Tyner of Box Elder, 36, was arrested on charges of driving without a driver's license, possession of drug paraphernalia, headlamp violation and driving under the influence refused to test, and Orlando Bertist Stanley of Box Elder, 47, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants after a vehicle stop on Fourth Avenue at 2:02 a.m.

  Michael Jay Stump of Havre, 49, was issued a summons on a criminal contempt charge related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation reported at 8:04 a.m.

Tuesday, April 30

Heather Lena Marie Lamere of Havre, 29, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served Tuesday at 8:57 a.m. at Hill County Detention Center.

Shanelle Marie Saddler of Box Elder, 31, was arrested on a shoplifting charge and on a Justice or City court warrant after a theft had been reported at a U.S. Highway 2 West business at 7:42 p.m. Tuesday.

Deputies investigated an animal control incident on Second Street Northeast in Rudyard Tuesday at 8:03 p.m.

Wednesday, May 1

  Elmo Francis Bailey of Box Elder, 58, was arrested on charges of trespass to property and littering after deputies were asked at 1:07 p.m. to provide assistance between the grain elevator and the Milk River north of the railroad tracks.

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported at a U.S. Highway 2 West business at 2:17 p.m.

A 13-year-old boy was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault member assault after an Eighth Avenue North caller reported at 7:32 p.m. that a family member was being violent. The boy was taken to Cascade County juvenile detention.

A theft forgery or fraud was reported at 7:57 p.m. at a Box Elder establishment.

Thursday, May 2

  Mason Mitchell Hoskinson of Havre, 25, was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license after a vehicle stop at 12:14 a.m.

Deputies investigated a 9:17 a.m. complaint on First Street Southeast in Box Elder.

Friday, May 3

  Deputies assisted at 2:40 p.m. with a vehicle crash with injuries at U.S. Highway 2 West and U.S. Highway 87.

Deputies opened an investigation after FBI agents notified them at 9:44 a.m. of a rape in Hill County.

A U.S. Highway 87 caller reported at 12:59 p.m. that plates had been stolen off a truck.

Saturday, May 4

  Deputies assisted at 6:32 a.m. on U.S. Highway 2 West after a bus driver reported the bus had blown tires between mile markers 355 and 356.

A caller on U.S. Highway 2 East reported at 929 p.m. hitting a deer and needing a tow truck between mile markers 388 and 389.

A written or verbal warning was issued after deputies initiated investigation of suspicious activity at the landfill at 11:19 p.m.

Sunday, May 5

  Deputies, assisted by Havre police, investigated a 12:38 p.m. report off a domestic disturbance on U.S. Highway 2 East.

Missoula Police Department asked at 1:38 p.m. for assistance searching for runaway juveniles who may be in the Havre area.

--

An arrest was made during a 2:06 p.m. vehicle stop at U.S. Highway 2 and 19th Avenue, but no details on charges were provided.

An Eighth Avenue North caller reported at 4:30 p.m. that a dog was attacked by two German shepherds.

--

A written or verbal warning was issued after a 9:11 p.m. caller at Fresno Dam reported a man shooting into the reservoir.

Tuesday, May 7

Deputies investigated an 8:39 a.m. call from First Street.

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported at a U.S. Highway 2 West business at 9:18 a.m.

--

A 9:27 p.m. report from Main Street in Rudyard about wind bending the crossing bar at the BNSF Railway tracks was referred to another agency.

--

Deputies were asked at 10:36 a.m. to assist Hill County Electric crews with traffic control while they repaired a power line in Laredo south of Havre.

--

An 11:33 p.m. caller on U.S. Highway 87 reported that power lines between mile marker 92 and Box Elder were arcing and lighting up when they hit each other.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to one call Tuesday, April 30, three calls Wednesday, May 1, seven calls Thursday, May 2, four calls Friday, three calls Saturday, four calls Sunday, five calls Monday, eight calls Tuesday and two calls early Wednesday.

Firefighters, along with an ambulance crew and a NorthWestern Energy crew, responded to three calls Tuesday about downed power lines. The first call at 10:43 a.m. on the 1000 Block of McKinley Avenue was a cable. The second call at 12:50 p.m. on Lincoln Avenue was for the pole and power lines for street lights from the 1100 Block to the 1400 Block, and Havre Fire provided standby for the NWE crew. The third call at 4:14 p.m. was on the 1000 Block of 11th Street West where a power line was down in a backyard and they provided standby for the NWE crew.

Firefighters respond to three fire calls Tuesday. The first call was at 4:28 p.m. on the 300 block of 16th Avenue West where a roof leak cause a false alarm and the building maintenance crew reset the alarm. The second call was at 5:19 p.m. at the Montana State University-Northern campus where a breaker tripped and someone was stuck in the elevator, but the breaker was reset and the person was able to exit the elevator. The third fire call, accompanied by an ambulance crew, was at 11:20 p.m. for a carbon monoxide monitor on the 100 Block of Third Avenue where they found the exhaust from a running van had gotten into the building and triggered the alarm.

Firefighters responded, with an ambulance crew, to a report of a downed power line at 7:10 a.m. Wednesday on the 800 Block of Sixth Street, but downed line was found.
