A paint ball spree in the early hours of Tuesday morning damaged homes and vehicles along 3rd, 2nd and 4th avenues.

"(It) looks like a random deal ," Assistant Chief of Operations for the Havre Police Department Gabe Matosich said this morning, adding that there are no leads in the investigation.

Five calls were received from residents on the avenues, complaining of damage to their homes and vehicles.

"It looks like there were numerous shots on each piece of property (damaged)," he said.

"They were pretty destructive," he said.

It appears that the spree began at about 2 or 3 a.m. and continued for several hours, he added.
