GREAT FALLS Marian A. (Farley) Acord, 88, of Great Falls, a homemaker, died Sunday in a Great Falls nursing home of natural causes.
Visitation was Wednesday at Chapel of Chimes Funeral Home in Great Falls. Her funeral was 11 a.m. today at Chapel of Chimes, with burial in Highland Cemetery in Great Falls.
Marian was born in Tagus, N.D., on March 4, 1914. She grew up in Havre and Great Falls and graduated from Great Falls High School in 1932.
Marian married H. Truman Acord on May 30, 1933, in Fort Benton.
Marian was preceded in death by her husband, H. Truman Acord in 1992; sons, William H. Acord in 1948 and Richard T. Acord in 1974.
Survivors include her daughters, Charlene Hachtel of Seattle, Bonnie Schlecht, Ruth McClain and Shirley Strabeck, all of Great Falls; sons, Nate Acord and Mark Acord of Great Falls; brother, Michael J. Farley of Havre; 24 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to Central Assembly of God Church.
