It was another weekend filled with flying sand and mud at the Lohman Motorsports Complex as the season kicked off with sand drag races on Saturday and mud runs on Sunday.
In Saturday's sand drags, Eureka's Paul Derrow captured the open event and the super modified earning a total of $500 in front of about 350 fans..
Other sand drag winners were Havre's Steve Neiffer in the two-wheel drive division, Frank Verploegen in the motorcycle/ATV and Clinton Denney in the four-wheel drive.
Sunday's mud runs were packed with contestants and close to 500 fans.
Rich Minch won open class and best of show, while Derrow earned some more money with a win the super modified buggy division.
Havre's Lee Farmer won the modified division, Nick Wood took home the motorcycle/ATV flat-track racing title and Chris Ries won the four-wheel drive stock class.
