Havre native Willie Hulett was victorious in Monday's episode of "Fear Factor," beating the odds and his competitors to take home $50,000.
"We are extremely proud of him," said his mother, Michael Hulett.
"I don't think it will be his last time on TV," she added.
The 2000 Havre High School graduate had to escape a pair of shackles, retrieve a chest filled with sand crabs from the ocean and eat the crabs, and, finally, remove ribbons from a rotating car suspended over water to win the prize.
Willie, who works on stage at the Excalibur Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas dueling with swords and jousting with lances, said in an interview last week he hopes to move to Los Angeles to work as a stuntman and eventually start acting and modeling.
Michael said she and her husband, Tom, watched the show Monday at their Havre home. Willie's siblings, Rhett and Wendy Hulett, watched it together in Great Falls.
"It really agreed with him," Michael said. "He was fun and such a good sport. He was awesome."
She said there was only one disappointment for Willie - the show said he is from Las Vegas.
"He's so proud of being from Havre," she said.
