Havre woman jailed in weekend shooting

A Havre woman was in jail this morning on a charge of attempted deliberate homicide.

Angelic Jennifer Frost, 30, was arrested on the charge after deputies responded to a report at 10:25 p.m. Friday of a shooting in the 8700 block of First Street West, the Hill County Sheriff's Office said.

Dolph Frost, Frost's husband, was taken by ambulance to Northern Montana Hospital and was treated for a gunshot wound to the shoulder, Hill County Sheriff Greg Szudera said.

The hospital listed a D. Frost, 50, in fair condition this morning.

A shotgun was used in the shooting, Szudera said.

The couple are in the process of obtaining a divorce and investigators do not yet know who was living in the Frost home, where the shooting occurred, the sheriff said.

The crime is under investigation. Investigators are not aware of any witnesses to the shooting, Szudera said.
