Ashley Parisian, a junior at Box Elder High School, has joined Detachment 1, 443rd Quartermaster Company of the Montana Army National Guard.
Ashley is a starter for the Box Elder Lady Bears basketball team.
She is scheduled to leave for basic training on June 9.
Her guardians are Joseph and Yvonne Rosette of Box Elder.
