It may be hard to believe, but half of the 2005 high school football season is already in the books. Let's take a look back at week four in high school football across the Hi-Line.
On Friday night, the Harlem Wildcats traveled to Class B powerhouse Choteau and were rocked by the Bulldogs, 52-6. Harlem's defense was no match for Choteau quarterback Matt Baker. Baker threw five touchdown passes on the night.
The Wildcats appeared poised to make a game of it in the first quarter. After the Bulldogs raced out to a 14-0 lead, Harlem's John Werk broke off a 50-yard touchdown run that closed the gap to 14-6 at the end of the first quarter.
At the start of the second quarter however, Choteau reeled off 25 unanswered points to lead 39-6 at intermission and the Wildcats never recovered.

The Refiners jumped on the scoreboard first with a 55-yard TD pass from Mitch Diegel to Matt Tomscheck to lead 6-0. That is when the tandem of Adam Hayes and Chad Beck took over the game.
