Although Hi-Line teams came up just short in their bid to capture a Class C state championship, they did manage to clean up handily in the postseason awards. The third-place Chester Coyotes' solid season was rewarded with two members on the prestigious Class C all-state squad - senior Shawnee Norick and junior Mary DeVries. The duo were also named to the District 10C all-conference first-team for their efforts this season.
Also earning Class C all-state honors from District 9C were sophomores Loni and Tori Belcourt of District 9C regular season champion and Class C state tournament qualifying Rocky Boy. District 9C tourney champ Big Sandy had juniors Naomi Williams and Kacy Herron earning all-state honors. Other players named to the all-state squad were Blue Sky/J-I senior Kaila Warren and Hays-Lodge Pole senior Colette Hawley.
All of the 9C all-state selections were also named to the District 9C all-conference team. The 9C coach of the year honors were split between Rocky Boy's Deb LaMere and Big Sandy's Roy Lackner.
