Register for HELP Camp

HELP Camp, in its 16th year, will be held on the Montana State University-Northern campus June 28-30. Hi-Line students entering grades five through eight are invited to attend. This year's theme is "On the Road to Success."

The camp fee is $40, which includes housing in the residence halls, meals, a camp manual, T-shirt, and one-year membership to Boys & Girls Club of the Hi-Line.

HELP Camp is offered by the HELP Committee and Boys & Girls Club of the Hi-Line. Organization staff and camp alumni will lead campers as they develop life skills that are invaluable during the teen years. Subjects to be discussed include the problems associated with alcohol, tobacco and other drugs; violence prevention; maintaining good hygiene; and healthy self-esteem.

Campwide workshops, friendly competitions and small group projects will provide opportunities for learning, having fun and making friends. A swim party, scavenger hunt and dance are among the just-for-fun activities planned for camp.

Camp registration forms are available at the Boys & Girls Club of the Hi-Line, 500 First Ave. in Havre or by calling 265-6206. Prospective campers are encouraged to register soon, as space is limited to 80 campers.
