The Havre Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the winners in various Festival Days competitions.
Taking honors among the floats in Saturday's parade were 4-H, winners of the Mayor's Choice award; Montana in Touch, winner in the best commercial float category; and Hill County Health Department for best noncommercial float.
The Friday night Car Show winner was Steve Heil.
Taking the first-place prize of $300 in the Great Ball Drop on the steps of Cowan Hall at Montana State University-Northern was Kathy Campanella. Coming in second and earning $200 was Ted Wipf. Joe Alexander took third and walked off with $100. Proceeds from the Great Ball Drop will go toward events sponsored by the Chamber Ambassadors.
Several Festival Days button prizes have gone unclaimed. Winning numbers that have yet to be turned in are: 295, 593, 399, 192, 451, 880, 224, 1000, 161, 554, 839, 12, 347, 764 and 682.
The buttons can be cashed in at the Chamber of Commerce office.
