The Highway Patrol responded to the crash at 4:30 a.m. and determined that the woman, Brandi Lee Blatt, 31, of Harlem, died after being ejected from a pickup.
Blatt was westbound five miles west of Havre on U.S. Highway 2 when the pickup left the roadway and went into a ditch on the north side of the road, the patrol reported. The pickup rolled 2 times before coming to rest.
The vehicle's two passengers - Kenneth Zane Blatt Jr., 29, and Twila Marie Cochran, 29, both of Box Elder, were treated at the scene for minor injuries and refused transport to a hospital, the patrol said.
