A Havre man injured in a motor vehicle crash Thursday has been upgraded to fair condition at Benefis East in Great Falls, a hospital spokeswoman said today.

Rock Harold Ailport, 50, had been listed in critical condition Friday.

Another Havre man in the vehicle, Blaine Lee Wombold, 29, died Thursday after being taken to Northern Montana Hospital.

Ailport was the driver of a 1985 Chevrolet Suburban that drove off the road near Zurich about 2:10 p.m. Thursday, the Montana Highway Patrol said. Ailport was partially ejected from the vehicle. He was taken to Northern Montana Hospital before being transported to Benefis East.

Ailport could not be reached for comment today.

Another Havre man, Joshua Rock Ailport, 18, was treated at Northern Montana Hospital. He is no longer listed as a patient there.

The truck drifted into oncoming traffic before the driver cut back, sending the truck into a ditch. The vehicle rolled three to four times before coming to a rest, the Highway Patrol said.

Wombold's funeral service will be today at 2 p.m. at Havre Assembly Of God with the Rev. Steve Flatau officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. A fellowship luncheon will be held at the church immediately following the graveside service.
