It's been 48 days since I last picked up a bowling ball and threw it at bowling pins. Is there life after bowling? Yes.
I really miss the women from Thursday a.m. They are a super bunch of ladies. It's the time of the year when we would be getting ready for our annual Christmas party, or should I say feast.
I was racking my brain trying to think of something to make with hamburger the other day when it hit me: I wouldn't be making my meatballs for our party. Well, gals, I made them and Ang and I ate them. Sorry.
The reality of no bowling has sunk in and I do not see anything changing in the near future. I guess if we want to bowl we will have to travel, a thought that does not appeal to me at all. The people who are traveling face some obstacles along the way, like weather, bad roads, late nights and wildlife. I only hope that those who do are being very careful and take nothing for granted.
Lana and David Herman remained on top of the board with their 1,707 in the Rudyard No-Tap. Maxine Munson and Steve Brown took over second place with a 1,615, and Linda Foster and Dan Redding were in third with a 1,604.
JoAnne Pepin was the only split picker, converting a 5-7.
Marjie Spinler recorded the high game and series for the women with a 222 and a 543. Barry Crowder had a 237, Minnow Mariani a 626, and Bill Henry an 84.
