Happy new year and good kegling to those who still are.
It has been 62 days since I received the call, 67 since I picked up a ball, but who's counting. I still miss the people. I often wondered why people who said they were going to take a year off never went back to bowling.
I now understand, while writing about those of you I miss, that this column is my Tuesday night fix. I really don't miss the physical act of bowling, going out in the cold, or being frustrated with the awful scores.
Would I go back if Hi-Line Lanes were ever sold and reopened? I don't think I'm going to have to worry about that for quite some time.
