Several local prep athletes have been named to basketball all-tournament teams over the last several weeks.

Last weekend, several Havre High basketball players were named to the Central A all-tournament team after outstanding performances at the Central A divisional tournament in Belgrade.

Havre High senior Steph Flatau earned first-team honors while fellow senior Alexa Lipp was named to the second team. Browning had three players on the first team led by tournament MVP Jenna Skunk Cap.

On the boys side, HHS senior Jared Weigel earned first team honors and was also named the tournaments MVP. Weigel was joined on the first team by fellow senior Jeremy Giardina. Central A champion Butte Central had two players named to the first team and two more on the second team.

Meanwhile, this past weekend saw Hays-Lodge Pole freshman sensation A.J. Long Soldier earned all-tournament accolades at the Class C state tournament in Billings. Long Soldier averaged 21 points and seven rebounds per outing in leading HLP to a third-place finish.

Postseason awards are also out in several leagues including District 10C and Northern C boys basketball. All-State selections from the Northern C division include HLP's Lance Brockie and Box Elder's Aaron Henry. District 9C runner-up North Star had senior Cody Donovan and junior Branden Melby named to the team as well.

The District 10C also announced its boys all-conference selections recently. After a difficult season, only senior Kevin May of Chester/J-I was named to the team. May was a second-team selection.
