Montanans killed in crash

WALSENBURG, Colo. (AP)

Two Montana children are

hospitalized with serious injuries

in Colorado Springs, Colo., after

a two-vehicle crash Sunday that

killed two other family members.

The State Patrol said Nicole

Rich, 26, of Sand Springs, Mont.,

was driving a van that was

struck head-on by another vehicle.

Rich and her 3-year-old

daughter died at the scene, the

state patrol said. A 5-year-old

child and a 7-year-old were taken

to a hospital.

Authorities said the driver of

the second vehicle, 65-year-old

John Sousa of Colorado Springs,

said he had swerved to avoid

another vehicle.
