There will also be free delivery, so anyone needing meals delivered to their nome should call the Senior Center at 265-5464 before 5 p.m. Friday. “We want to make sure everybody gets their orders in so either call today or tomorrow if you want home delivery and we will make sure it gets to you on Christmas,” Bob Bergren said. The Ray Miller Family will be providing Christmas music with the meal. “We have been doing this for four years now, and it has turned out to be something we really enjoy doing. The family all pulls together, my brothers and mon and dad, aunts and uncles, cousins everybody. It has really turned into a good time,”he said. Volunteers are welcome to come and assist with serving or delivering the dinners. “We have people come up from Conrad, Big Sandy and Malta. It’s really a lot of fun, everybody is welcome. Nobody has to put themselves out too much, just come in for an hour or so and help out and enjoy yourselves. There is no charge, but we do Ask that people donate whatever they can afford to help us with the costs.” Bergren said. “It looks like we are going to have beautiful weather that day, which means we should have a good turnout. This is a nice event, lots of people bring their whole families, you know, just so mom doesn’t have to spend the whole day bent over a hot stove,” Bergren said.
