Turner woman killed in crash

HARLEM (AP) - A car veered into the median and rolled on Highway 241 north of here Saturday, killing a 37-year-old Turner woman.

Danielle ‘‘Dani'' Snider, a passenger, was thrown from the car and died at the scene.

Her husband, Scott Snider, who was driving, also was ejected. He was transported to the hospital in Havre and was released Monday.

The other passenger, the couple's third-grade daughter, was uninjured, Blaine County Coroner Marvin Edwards said. She was the only one wearing a seat belt, Edwards said.

The family was traveling to Chinook to watch a youth basketball game when their southbound vehicle veered off the west side of the highway, struck the concrete divider and rolled.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, the Montana Highway Patrol said.

The death raised Montana's highway fatality toll to 10, compared with three on Jan. 14, 2005.
