In other City Council news:
Rice presented Parks and Recreation director Chris Inman with a community service award, honoring her achievements as the coach of the Havre High School swim teams. The girls won their seventh-straight state championship in February.
“Chris Inman has been a die-hard when it comes to training those kids,” Rice said.
A Safety Committee meeting will be held Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
The Parks and Recreation Committee did not meet on March 13 for lack of quorum. A meeting is set for April 3 at 7 p.m. The committee will consider a request to have city workers mow Town Square.
