In the early morning hours Saturday, a 16-year-old Havre boy and a 19-year-old Havre man were arrested after residents on Third Avenue reported hearing gunshots fired.
Havre Police Lt. Russ Ostwalt today said a 17-year-old Havre boy and a Havre man between the ages of 40 and 60 were shot at. Neither was injured, Ostwalt said.
Officers responded to the scene after receiving a call at 12:07 a.m. Saturday. They initially were unable to locate the 19-year-old man. Officers later gave a foot pursuit near the suspects' residence and apprehended the 19-year-old a few hours later.
Ostwalt said the two males were each arrested on charges, including obstructing a peace officer, criminal endangerment, theft, and criminal mischief, but he could not say who was arrested on what charges. The responding officers' report was not yet completed, he said.
