Men's City Tourney wraps up in Rudyard; state entry blanks in

I have received the entry blanks for the YABA bowlers. Anyone needing one should either contact me or Chris Drew.

SplitLickers took the top spot in the Men's City Tourney at Rudyard with a 2,394. JAVAT was second with a 2,358. Donoven Spreading finished third and Heydon Overhead Doors fourth with 2,341 and 2,324, respectively.

Ben and Greg Spinler and Martin Alley and Darby Ditmar tied the top spot in the doubles with their 1,210s. Dale Dahlke and Bob Toner were third with a 1,206, and Chris Pappas and Dave Watson were fourth with 1,203. Thomas Allen took the singles with a 642. Pat Foster placed second with 633. and Gary Standiford was third with a 628. Bob Toner followed with a 613, and Dave Watson and Sid Haugen tied for fifth with their 611s. All events winners

were Bob Toner with 1,855 and Todd Langel with 1,792.

Split pickers were Pat Foster Sr. with a 4-7-9 and Jack Jacobson a 6-7-10. I have to wonder where the ball went when Rick Melby left a 3-4-6-7-9-10. I also have to wonder where the ball went when he converted the mess.

Brian Lilletvedt had the hot hand last week with games of 223, 236, 222 for a 681. Shawn Rettig had a 211, 226, 614; Terry Grant a 235, 214, 626, and Barry Zanto a 226, 215 and a 617. Mike Purkett scored the high game of 256. Dani Kline had the women's highs of 207 and 539. Lilletvedt also had the high four-game series of 836.

YABA:

Steve Ramsbacher shot a 189 and Chase Hadford a 485 for the boys highs in the Majors. Allison Grant was the girls high shooter with a 156 and a 397. Flawless Filters had the team highs of 733 and 2,123. The Juniors were led by Tyson LaTray with a 170, Casey Hadford a 383, Wendy White a 160 and Kelsey Doney a 376. McNair Furniture took the team honors with an 812 and a 2,201.

Mark Morrell had a 115, David Denny a 311, and Sara Vazquez a 95 and a 240 to lead the Preps. The team highs were a 464 and 1,343 by K-Lines. The Sunday Bantams saw Gavin Spinler shoot a 122, 306 and Tylynn Rettig a 113 and a 326. Spinler Farms had the team highs of 468 and 1,331. The Thursday Bantam highs were: Rian Gulick 66 and 115, and Casady Adams 133. Wells Fargo of Rudyard had the high team game of 453, and Farmers Union Oil of Rudyard the series of 841. Tyson Latray picked a 2-7, and Rian Gulick covered the 1-3-10 washout.

Havre has its PeeWees; Rudyard has the Mighty Mites. Havre little ones bowl with bumpers, Rudyard little ones don't. Dylan Miller had a 68 and a 117, and Paij Peterson a 65 and a 128. Grand Chick N Coop had the team highs of 480 and 943.

BIG SANDY:

Monday Men: Mix Ups had the high team game and series of 921 and 2,731. Jason Terry scored the high game of 256, with a series of 577, and Colby Baumgarn had the series of 657 with games of 243 and 222. Jerry LaBuda had a 235, 201 and 623; Roger Mead a 208 and 582; Daris Schuster a 554; Doug Grubb a 550; and Robin Pearson a 208 and a 547.

Thursday Mixed: Box Cars had the high team game of 896, and a 2,549 by Spray Foam Roofing was the high team series. Ruth Vukasin had the high women's game of 189 and Marcia Stratton the series of 492. Jerry LaBuda had the high game for the men with a 232 and Doug Grubb the series of 608 with games of 213 and 205. Tanner Knuth had a 214, 208 and 589. Cody Thompson had a 215 and a 578; Karl Osterman a 213; Tom Stokes a 212; Greg Lynnes a 204; Ron Andrade a 203; Neil Kulbeck a 202; Marvin Osterman a 201; and Jason Terry a 560.
