The second week of men's league golf at Beaver Creek Golf Course in Havre saw more good weather and some outstanding scoring. Here is a look back at the week that was at BCGC.
On Tuesday night, Bing N Bobs took home high-team honors with 24 points and also grabbed the early lead in the race for the top spot in the Tuesday night standings. Bing N Bobs, which scored 24 points, was composed of Dick Bohn, Bill Evans, Dick Scharfe and Howie Stromberg. Scharfe also captured low gross for the night by shooting a 37, and Tyler Kapperud earned low-net honors with a 26.
On Wednesday night, Mariani Insurance earned high team-honors with a whopping 25.5 points. The team is composed of Steve Mariani, Jim Omlie, Greg Munson and Murry Hurlburt. Jim Kato fired an even-par 36 to earn low gross, and Rick Ervin and Jim Wirt tied for low net, each scoring a 32.5.
