The Bergren family Christmas dinner was a success, as usual. State Rep. Bob Bergren, Dhavre, hosted the dinner at the Havre Eagles Club along with his family. He said the attendance was down a little from last year. They served between 400 and 450 at the Club and another 200 Christmas meals were delivered to homes. “It’s a lot of work, but we really enjoy putting it on, especially when we’re finished and everything went well,” he said. Bergren said he wanted to specifically thank his brother Scott, who cooked much of the meal at “P.J’s,” their parents’ restaurant. “He was the guy doing all the work behind the scenes,” Bergren said. “I want him to know I really appreciated that.” Ray Miller provided music for the occasion. “I’d really like to thank him to, he volunteered, and just did a great job,” Bergren said. “The music was a real nice touch.
