Barbara Mary Grey, 53, died Friday, June 22, 2007, at her home due to lung complications.
Her memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 29 at the Assembly of God Church with Pastor Steve Flatau officiating. Burial will be held at the Highland Cemetery. A fellowship luncheon will be held at the church immediately after the services at the graveside. Barbara was born Feb. 3, 1954, in Havre, to Robert F. and Lorraine (Christianson) Hinkle. She was raised and educated in the Havre. She had a daughter in 1972 and then married Donald Grey Aug. 23, 1977, at Camp Kiwanis in the Bear Paw Mountains. The couple had two children and then later divorced. She was employed at the Havre Eagles Club, Northern Montana College and the Duck Inn. She enjoyed knitting and macrame. Barbara was a very quiet kind person who enjoyed a good laugh and spending time at her home. Her smile will be missed. She was preceded in death by her brother, Marcus Hinkle. Barbara is survived by her parents, Robert and Lorraine Hinkle of Havre; daughter, Teresa (Raul) Rangel of San Antonio; sons, Jason (Angel) Grey of Gillette, Wyo. And James (Heather LaTray) Grey of Havre; brothers, W.“Red” (Karen) Lumsden of Port Orchard, Wash., Raymond (Pat) Lumsden of Twain Heart, Calif., Dennis (Linda) Hinkle of Havre and William (Debbie) Hinkle of Havre; ex-husband, Donald Grey of Havre; and six grandchildren. Memorial contributions in Barbara’s honor may be made to the American Lung Association, 825 Helena Ave., Helena, MT 59601-3459. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
