Former Beavercreek resident Nellie M. Snell, 93, a homemaker, died Monday, Sept. 10, 2007, at the Hi-Line Retirement Center of natural causes.
Funeral services will be 2 p. m. Wednesday at the Adams Memorial Chapel in Malta. Interment will be in the Malta Cemetery. Nellie was born May 2, 1914, at the Fort Belknap Agency to William and Ethel (Strike) Crasco. She was raised on the agency. Nellie married Elmer Snell on June 20, 1934 in Malta. They lived at Beavercreek, south of Dodson their entire life. They would spend the winters in Phoenix for several years and lived there full time for six years. After Elmer’s death in 1983, Nellie continued to live at Beavercreek until moving to the rest home in 2001. She enjoyed visiting her family and friends. Survivors include her sisters, Arlene Anderson of Juneau, Alaska; Lorraine Harris of Tucson, Arizona; brother, Donald Crasco of Tucson, Arizona; numerous nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. Adams Funeral Home of Malta is in charge of arrangements.
