Edward W. Nelson, 56, died suddenly the morning of Friday, Sept. 14, 2007, at the Central Montana Medical Center of natural causes.
Funeral services for Edward are today at 2 p.m. in the Immanuel Baptist Church in Havre, with interment to follow in the Highland Cemetery in Havre. He was born Feb. 15, 1951, in Havre, the son of Robert D. and Dolores E. (Frey) Nelson. He received his education in the Havre Public Schools. He had been disabled for many years. He enjoyed listening to music, fixing and riding bicycles and motorcycles, card games and he loved people. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Nelson; one sister, Evelyn Templeton; one nephew, Jeremy Templeton; and his grandparents, John and Amelia Frey and Victor and Hazel Nelson. He is survived by his mother, Dolores Tudor of Havre; sisters Ruby (Richard) Caton of Whitefish; Leona Nelson of Phoenix; and Maxine (Greg) Munson and Arlene (Randy) Graves, both of Havre; one brother, Darryl Peterson of Jefferson City; and several nieces and nephews. The Cloyd Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Lewistown is in charge of arrangements.
