RONNIE HAROLD ALLERY obituary MALTA

Ronnie Harold Allery, 60, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007, an Army veteran and retired physicians assistant, at his home in Malta of natural causes.

Funeral services will be 11 a. m. Saturday at the Adams Memorial Chapel in Malta. Interment with Masonic and military honors will be in the Malta Cemetery. Ronnie was born in Malta on Aug. 13, 1947, the son of Charles Kilduf and Cecelia (Johnson) Allery. He was raised in Whitewater and Malta. He joined the Army in 1964 and served in Vietnam. It was in the Army that he learned the value of education and received his GED. After his discharge Ron, worked at different jobs while pursuing his college degrees. He married Patricia Majors on July 6, 1970, in Malta. Of the many different jobs he worked he loved the one as a firefighter at Glasgow Air Force Base. He attended Northern Montana College, University of New Mexico and University of North Dakota-Grand Forks. Ron became a big hockey fan while at Grand Forks and always would attend any of the college’s games. Ron graduated with several degrees and was a Certified Physicians Assistant. He worked at Malta, Glasgow and Fort Belknap where he retired from in March because of health problems. Ron had suffered a stroke after returning from Iraq 2004 while stationed at Fort Bragg. Ron was involved with the Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Malta Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, and his playing with his grandchildren and family. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Grace Allery in 1957 and Linda Smith in 2006; and grandson, Jared Allery in 1994. He is survived by his wife, Pat of Malta; son, Jason (Karen) Allery of Glendive; daughters, Jamie (Tom) Lambrecht of Fort Worth, Texas, and Larissa Allery of Malta; sister, Doris Jetson of Williston, N.D.; brothers, Frank Allery of Havre and Charles Allery of Helena; and seven grandchildren. Adams Funeral Home of Malta is in charge of arrangements.
