Florence C. Majerus, 90, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007, at Valle Vista Manor of natural causes.
At her request, cremation has taken place with inurnment in Hillcrest Mausoleum in Great Falls. No services will be held. Florence was born Oct. 21, 1916, to Nicholas and Glennie (Welter) Molitor in Moscow, Idaho. She was raised south of Havre in the Bears Paw Mountains and received her education in Havre. She then attended and graduated from Northern Montana College. In 1941, Florence married Mel Majerus in Fairbanks, Ala., where they were both employed by the Civil Aeronautics Administration. She also taught school a number of years prior to her retirement. Mel preceded Flo in death in 1989. Florence was a member of several organizations relating mostly to education, radio, aviation and travel. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and two brothers, Ron and Ed Molitor. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends are asked to make memorials to the charity of their choice and may be left at the Cloyd Funeral Home.
