Patricia Jean Scharen, 58, died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2007, at The Billings Clinic of natural causes.
A wake and rosary was held at 7 p.m. Friday at the Rocky Boy Catholic Church. A funeral mass was held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Rocky Boy Catholic Church, with the committal rite being celebrated at the Rocky Boy Cemetery, with Father Pete Guthneck officiating. Patricia was born March 17, 1949, to Sam and Yolanda (Fisher) Buffalo in Fort Belknap. She grew up in Havre and graduated in 1967. Patricia moved to Great Falls and was there from 1968 to 1992, when she then moved to Billings and was there for 15 years. Patricia was baptized Catholic as an adult in 1980. She loved bingo and playing the machines, was a very generous person and fun to be around. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Goodwin. Patricia is survived by her daughters, Norma Jean, Sandra and Yolanda Stuart, Robinette, Rosella Edwards and Wanda St. Marks; sons, Samuel Buffalo and Ray Brown; brother, Sam (Elise) Buffalo Jr. Of Browning; 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Edwards Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
