Roger Wayne Loe, 60 died Thursday, Dec, 13, 2007, of a pulmonary embolism at the Northern Montana Medical Center in Havre.
Memorial Services will be held Jan. 6, 2008, at 2 p.m. at the Fifth Avenue Christian Church in Havre. Roger was born Feb. 19, 1947, in Rolla, N. D., to Glenn and Eileen Loe. He graduated from Cavalier High School in Cavalier, N. D., in 1965. He later moved to Montana where he worked for Teneco Gas Company and the Hill County Cemetery District. For the last 30 years Roger worked as a leadman for the Havre Car Department at BNSF. He was a dedicated worker and took great pride in his job. Roger was an avid member of the Havre Trap Club. He was also past district Hi-Line chairman for the Boy Scouts, past president of the Havre Youth Hockey Association and past president of the Girls Softball Association. Roger was also a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation; Ducks Unlimited; Northerns Unlimited; Walleyes Unlimited; Pheasants Forever and was a conservationist. His true passions in life were his wife and children along with reloading, trapshooting, hunting, fishing, cooking and he loved working in his garden with his two Amys. His children would like to emphasize his involvement and care during his wife’s battle with cancer. He loved and cared for his family so much. They were his whole world. He was the most caring man you would ever meet. He truly touched the lives of everyone around him and influenced them in some way or another. Roger was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Loe. Survivors include his wife, Pamela (Bostic) Loe of Havre; son, Ryan Loe and Amy Wood of Great Falls; daughter, Amy Loe of Havre; granddaughter, Haven Roy of Great Falls; mother, Eileen Loe of Cavalier.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Glenda and Darryl Stansill of Cavalier; Rita Loe of Cavalier; Tia and Steve Wei ler of Grafton, N.D.; aunt, Latane Peterson of Fargo, N.D.; mother- in-law, Adrienne Bostic of Havre; brother-in-law, Greg and Judy Bostic of Havre, along with nephews and one niece. Donations may be made in Roger’s name to the Havre Trap Club. Services have been entrusted to Holland and Bonine Funeral Home of Havre.
