Two local women died Saturday in a head-on collision south of Loma. At 8:55 a. m., driver Rebecca Jean Henry, 23, of Havre and Lisa Rae Stuckey, 30, of Dupuyer and formerly of Havre, were traveling north on U. S. Highway 87 when their 1997 Ford F-150 collided head-on with a 2000 Freightliner with two tanker trailers driven by Richard Glenn Moore, 48, of Great Falls. According to the Montana Highway Patrol report, Henry drove across the center line and struck Moore’s truck just south of Loma, while negotiating a left curve. Neither of the women traveling in the Ford survived and Stuckey’s 5-year-old son was transported from the scene by ambulance and transferred to Mercy Flight, which took him to Benefis in Great Falls. Moore suffered minor injuries.
