Men’s City begins tonight with a team event at 6:45 . There will be another shift at 9:15 for teams, singles, and doubles. Saturday shift times will be 12:30, 3:00 and 5:30 p.m., and Sunday at 1 and 3:30 p.m. These shifts will be for team events, doubles and singles. The cost is $12 per event, per person with an optional $2 for the All Events. March 1 averages will be used. Any questions should be directed to Shawn Mariani at 265-4718. Final results from the “292” No-Tap will be here next week. Jacey McDonald and Tracer Nitz ended their Bantam season by taking top honors for the week. McDonald had a 72, 53 and a 125 and Nitz a 121, 80, and 201. Tori Hansen scored a 52 and a 90; Cole Schlotfeldt a 117 and 163; and Daeton Keeler a 136 series. The Strike Master took first place by one-and-a-half games over The Strikers who placed second by one game over The Bowling Girls. The Hot Dogs and The Broncos followed. David Denny had a pair of 125s and a 366 series; Trey Brown a 118 and 310; and Samuel Allison a 275 series in the Prep boys. Girls’ highs were Janae Staples with a 120; Sadie Seidel a 103 and 287; and Shania Carlson a 109 and 265. The Pin Slayers won the league by nine games. The Burton Strike and See Ya Later Pins tied for second followed by The 300’s, The PinHeads, The Strike Force and The Cyclones. Jacob Anderson threw a great game and series of 236 and 587 and Dyani Holzhausen a 179, 126 and 426 to top the Junior/Majors. Kyle Surber had a 205 and 585; Justin Davis a 213; Roman Surber a 525; Savannah Rudio 133 and a 312; and Kaitlyn McKnight a 312. The Trojans squeaked out first place by onehalf- game over Team 162. Cotton- Headed Ni was third followed by a tie between Team Flip and The Blonde Bombs; The Head Pins; and a tie between Triple X and The Spare Bears. There are not enough thank yous to thank Chris Drew enough for the great job she does for the youth organization. The time she spends and her dedication to the kids is awesome. Thanks also to the parents who have pitched in on Sundays to help make the organization a success and to a great bunch of youth participants. The awards day for the Havre Youth is set for March 18. At this time we are planning to remind you ahead of time by phone. Katie Motichka, Carol Chagnon, and Sharnai Hamilton will be celebrating their birthdays on Saturday. Janet Dorr picked a 5-6-10 and Elaine Rosman and Ang Pizzini 2-7-8s. Christy Holden had the highs of 212 and 560. Holden also had a 532. Barb DeRosa had a 203 and 533; Gen Austin a 524; Myrna Morse a 524; Ruth Vukasin a 507; and I managed a 208 and 550. Dustin Kinsella threw a 265 and Roy Hamilton a 669. Hamilton had a 245 as well as Mike Sherrill and Ang Pizzini. “Six” shooters were Shawn Mariani with a 618; Chris Pappas a 665; and Ron Tompt a 606. The high four-game series of 858 belonged to Kinsella. Roy Hamilton had an 840 and Ken Riska a 799.
RUDYARD: Greg Spinler threw the high game of 268 and Terry Grant the series of 662. Spinler recorded a 634 and a 606 series and Grant a 245 game. Jack Jacobson had a 630 and games of 234 and 231. Monty Groth shot a 244, 598 and Bryan Watson had a 596. Terry Grant also had the high four-game series of 816. Marjie Spinler had the women’s highs of 193, 498.
