Phyllis Irene Christopherson, 76, died Saturday, June 2, 2007, in Spokane, Wash., surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
A private memorial was held Saturday, June 9. Phyllis was born Jan. 28, 1931, in Havre to Melvin Erickson and Ella Cady. She was a preschool teacher for headstart. She retired in 1993 from her retail managment postion with the Salvation Army retail store in Havre. She is preceded in death by husband, Norman Christopherson of Havre; mother, Ella Rowin of Havre; father, Melvin Erickson of Great Falls; brother, Melvin Erickson Jr. Of Havre; Willa Mae Koch of Havre, Donna Roberts of Minot, N. D.; and grandson, Nathan Green. Phyllis is survived by her children, Margaret Green of Citrus Heights; Bill (Sue) Green of Greenacres, Wash., Richard Green and Debra (Curtis) Sullivan of Spokane; step father, Howard Rowin of Havre; brothers, David Rowin and Ronald Rowin of Havre; sisters, Doris Bishop of Great Falls; Betty Hafner, Laura Hafner and Sue Rowin of Havre; 12 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
