Jeanne Arnold Wilson, 92, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2007, at home in Helena.
Memorial services will be held at Last Chance Chapel on Raven Road in Helena on Saturday at 1 p.m. Services will also be held at Northwoods Presbyterian Church in Houston on Sept. 1. Jeanne was born in November 1914, to Louis K. and Lenora Arnold in Stanley, N.D. She graduated from high school at Paris Gibson High in Great Falls and attended Northern Montana College. She married Marion W. Wilson in 1937. The couple returned to Gildford in the late 40’s to run the family store and later moved to the farm between Kremlin and Gildford. They farmed until 1970 and in 1972 moved to Houston, Texas. Jeanne returned to Montana to live with her daughter in Helena in 2004. Jeanne is survived by two daughters, Pam Pak (Mac Newby) of Houston and Lucinda (Pete) Fleming of Helena; eight grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many other family and friends who will miss her. Donations in Jeanne’s memory may be made to macular degeneration research, hospice or the church or charity of donator’s choice.
