Margaret Bailey Weese, 94, former resident of Gildford, died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2007, at Kootenai Medical Center.
Her graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Highland Cemetery in Havre with Pastor Ed Fallo officiating. Burial will follow. Margaret was born Dec. 23, 1912, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, to Horace and Maude Bittleston. She was raised and educated in Coeur d’Alene. She married Richard Bailey in 1935, in Coeur d’Alene. The couple moved to Gildford in 1945, after World War II. Richard passed away June 14, 1957, in a plane accident in Havre. Margaret lived most of her life in the Coeur d’Alene area, returning in 1958 from Montana. Margaret was a homemaker and worked at Cy’s Meats in Coeur d’Alene for 14 years. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Richard Bailey in 1957; four brothers and two sisters. Margaret is survived by her husband, Harry Weese of Coeur d’Alene; and her sister, Rachel Hanson of Mesa, Ariz.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions in Margaret’s honor may be made to the Gildford First Baptist Church. A luncheon will be held at the Gildford Baptist Church after the services at the graveside. Arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
