IRENE ANN ANDERSON obituary POULSBO, Wash.,

Irene Ann Anderson, 79, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007, at Martha and Mary Nursing Home in Poulsbo, Wash.

She had been living there since January, 2007. She was born Irene Ann Wanago in Havre Jan. 31, 1928, where she spent her childhood growing up with two brothers in Montana. She finished school and married her husband, Gordon. One month later moved to Billings where she worked as a bookkeeper and resided for 23 years. Gordon’s work took them to Spokane where they lived for 26 years enjoying many friendships. For the past six years they lived in Poulsbo to be close to their daughter Wendy and her family. Irene loved her family and grandchildren deeply and was crazy about her dog, Lily. Until rheumatoid arthritis prevented her from doing so, she loved to garden and was famous for her Sunday night dinners. She was an avid Gonzaga basketball fan and never missed watching her Zags and cheering them on tv! She is survived by her husband, Gordon; her children, Wendy (Brian) and Michael (Heidi); and four grandchildren. Please sign the online guest book at:www.cookfamilyfuneralhome. com.
