Cory Lee “Tabby” Shambo, 48, died in Billings Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2007, of cancer.
Funeral mass was scheduled for Saturday in St. Paul’s Catholic Church with burial following in the Star Hill Family Cemetery. Tabby was born on June 15, 1959 to Joan Bradley and Edgar Shambo. He attended schools in Hays, Harlem, Glasgow, and graduated from Hays Lodge Pole High School in 1977. He then attended the Billings College of Technology for welding. He was an avid fire-fighter and worked on various ranches. Tabby enjoyed riding horses, driving around, listening to old music, and just being with his friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and a sister. Tabby is survived by his special companion, Patricia Eagleman; brothers Gary, Darrell (Carol) and Stewart (Debbie); sisters Daralyn (Bill), Darlene, Karen, Ina (Raymond) Loppy (Billy); aunts Rita, Myrna, Sophie, uncles Alfred, Gilbert, Willy, Vernon, Louie, special nieces and nephews. Arrangements are by Edwards Funeral Home of Chinook.
