She enjoyed tennis and sharing in Maynard’s many interests including hunting, training his beloved hunting dogs, fishing, gourmet cooking, bee keeping and traveling. When Maynard became ill, Mickie lovingly cared for him at home. Mickie was the epitome of graciousness. She always saw the best in everyone. Although she suffered many hospitalizations over recent years, Mickie repeatedly overcame her difficulties. She was a tough survivor and fiercely independent until the day she died.
