The pots for Jackpot are all over $100. The fun night of bowling is held every Saturday at 8 p.m. at Hi-Line Lanes. Reservations may be made by calling 265-5885. Ken Brubaker is back in the pro shop drilling and refinishing balls. Call Ken or Ron for all your bowling needs and tips. The PeeWee league began Sunday. Quinn McDonald bumped her way to an 85 game. Brady Ophus had a 79 and Tyrel Kjersem a 78. The little ones bowl one game with the help of bumpers. Shawn and Christy Holden will be hosting their annual Scotch Doubles Tourney Jan. 27-28. The cost has been kept at $8 for the Bantams who will bowl three games and $10 for all others who will bowl four games. No league bowling will be held on Jan. 28. If you are in need of an entry blank for state, please let me know. We are making copies. If you bowled in Rudyard last year, it is up to you to get your end of the year average from them. For those who need your average from the first of this year, either call me or there will be a list of them at the lanes. Last week I reported Becky Anderson picked a split. Becky did pick a split but it should have read Becky Blake. Thanks for being the good sport you are Becky and reminding me it’s been Blake for several years. Old habits are hard to break. Ryan Mapes and Jamie Berreth will be celebrating their birthdays on Jan. 13. Have a good one “Hollywood!” Nancy Morrell converted the 5-7. Tammy Omlie had the only 200 of the week, a 205. Ann McKnight shot a 506, Lana Herman a 510, and Carol Chagnon a 505. Bret Preeshl had a 232, Shawn Mariani a 228 and Roy Hamilton a 227. Allen Stiffarm shot a 624 and Kyle Fanning had a 602. I have once again lowered the women’s scores and will continue to do so until there are a few women here. I have no doubt I will be lowering the men’s scores for next week. RUDYARD: Chris Pappas had the high series of 621 which included a 232 game. Todd Langel had the high game of 244 on his way to a 612. Gordon Standiford had a 606 and a 609 with a 220, Jack Jacobson a 221 and a 594, Dave Miller a 227and Darby Ditmar a 211. Jen Dalhke had the women’s highs of 190 and 541. Shirley Kline had a 518. Pappas also had the high four-game series of 801. Marjie Spinler was the only split picker, converting a 9-10.
