ROGER L. SIEWING obituary

Roger L. Siewing, 62, died Monday, Aug. 20, 2007, died of natural causes.

He was a Pastor with the Rocky Boy Assembly of God Church. Funeral services will be 3:30 p. m. Friday at the Adams Memorial Chapel in Malta. Interment will be in the Malta Cemetery. There will be a memorial service at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Havre Assembly of God Church. Roger was born March 21, 1945, to Clara (Buen) and Herman Siewing in Glasgow. He grew up on the family farm in Saco. He graduated from Saco High School in 1963. After graduating from Trinity Bible School, he served intermittently on the mission field in Taiwan for nine years. He married Linda Rahn of Frazer on March 8, 1991. He served as Pastor of the Saco Assembly of God Church for a number of years. They served together in Taiwan where their son Joshua was born. The returned to the United States in 1998 where he was called to serve with Intercultural Ministries at Rocky Boy Reservation for last eight years. Roger enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son, Joshua, teaching him the values of life. He had a genuine and deep love for people. He freely gave of himself to anyone that needed him. He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Siewing on April 23, 1979. He is survived by his wife, Linda; son, Joshua of Havre; mother, Clara Siewing of Malta; brother, Walter Siewing of Saco; aunts and uncles and numerous cousins. Adams Funeral Home of Malta is in charge of arrangements.
