Ralph Sleeter, Jr. (Bud), 79, died of complications following surgery on July 3, 2007, at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler, Texas.
Cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Born to Ralph and Tyne Sleeter in Virginia, Minn. On July 7, 1927, he attended schools in Havre, enlisting in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a member of the American Legion. He was a retired metalist from Teflon. Bud was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Ken Sleeter; brother, James Sleeter; and sister, Jacqueline Christie. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy of Pittsburg, Texas; two sons, Thomas Jeffrey Sleeter of Texarkana, Texas and Robert James Sleeter, Tulsa, Oka.; daughter, Vicki Pollard of Pittsburg; sister, Patricia (Newal) Brenna of Havre; one grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.
