Florimond “Butch” August Everaert of Havre, 76, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007 at the Northern Montana Care Center of natural causes.
Cremation will take place and his memorial graveside service will be 2 p. m.Wednesday at the Highland Cemetery with Tim Maroney officiating. Butch was born Oct. 2, 1930, in Chicago, Ill. He was raised and educated in the Chicago area and moved to Montana with his mother and brother after the death of his father. He was worked as laborer in the diesel shop for the Great Northern Railway. He met Cleo Schuele in 1971 and the couple later married June 13, 1972, in Havre. Butch worked until his retirement from the railroad. He and Cleo then spent time together doing things they enjoyed. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Cleo Everaert, in 2003. Survivors include his brother, August “Gus” Everaert of Havre. Memorials in Florimond’s honor may be made to the Hi-Line Sletten Cancer Center C/O Northern Montana Hospital P. O. Box 1231, Havre, MT 59501. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
