You can find it on the wall just above alley one. They will be posting upcoming events as well as keeping you informed as to what is going on right now. It may be early in the season, but it sounds like there was a fairly good turn out for Jackpot bowling. The fun night is held every Saturday at 8 p.m. Reservations may be made by calling 265-5885. Rock-N-Bowl is held Friday nights starting at 7 p.m. The cost is $5 per person to bowl from 7-10. The women should be receiving their new USBC cards anyday now. As I told you before, you will not find your last year’s average on them due to the cost of postage and errs in reporting of averages. If you do not receive your card in the same time the rest of your league does, let me know. USBC has also made it easier to obtain a duplicate card by going to Bowl.com., find a member. You will be able to print your own card if the original has been lost. Inetia Cantin and Melissa Evans will be celebrating birthdays on Saturday. Minnow Mariani picked a 4-7-10, Dave Hamilton and Randy Randolph 4-6s, Kyle Surber a 6-7, Kathy Moran a 5-7-10, Marcia Durward a 4-5, Chris Drew and Kenny Beck 5-10s, Doug Watson a 3-7-10, Lana Herman a 3-9-10, and Marlene Pizzini a 5-7 and 2-7-10. Chris Drew threw a 211 and Jackie Mayer had a 531. Mayer also had a 525, Trisha Keeler a 514, Sharnai Hamilton a 520, Christy Holden a 505, Dana Seidel a 526, Jen McLean a 200, Marla Boyce a 500, and I had a 525. Ken Riska tickled the 300 mark again but fell short by a mere pin for a 299. Riska also had games of 267 and 232 for a 676. Riska hit a 798 in his last three games of Straightaway. It is difficult enough to bowl a 700 but two in two days! Mike Hamilton also neared perfection with a 289 after games of 247 and 223 for a 759. Monday night, Hamilton totaled games of 216, 246, and 248 for a 710. Ang Pizzini and his new hip started the night off with a 277 and had a 641 series. Brian Moore shot a 613, Kelly Olson a 626, Kyle Surber a 601, Dustin Kinsella a 652, Bret Preeshl a 649, Tracy Job a 606, Russ Boucher a 651, Dave Briere a 619, Ron Turner a 617, and a 254, and Roy Hamilton a 248. Riska’s 975 was the high four-game series. Mike Hamilton had an 863, Surber a 810, Roy Hamilton an 815 and Kinsella an 865. Shawn Copeland says “Hi” to everyone. He is looking into purchasing his own bowling center but still had time to throw a four-game series of 1,016. He is averaging a mere 242 but said that is not the high. And to think some of us are lucky to have 242 after two games. The lady pros will bowling again this Sunday morning. The show airs on ESPN at 11 a.m.
