D. Jean Hovee, 89, of Cheyenne died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007, at Life Care Center of Cheyenne.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Services will be at a later date. She was born Dec. 23, 1917, in Boulder but had lived in Cheyenne for the past 45 years. Jean was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She was also a member of PEO Chapter Z. She married Lloyd Hovee Nov. 24, 1938, in Havre. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Hovee; her parents, Lester and Ina McNeil; and sister, Marion Williamson. She is survived by two sisters, Mildred Scharfe of Billings and Betty Jondahl of Edina, Minn.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
